Position:
BIG are looking for a talented developer to augment our fast growing team of IT professionals. The individual will need to be a team player that would be able to work autonomously on individual projects. A successful candidate would possess technical skill, be enthusiastic and be able to get along with a variety of personalities. Driven, hardworking and the ability to excel in the position are a prerequisite.
Responsibilities:
Designing and improving of our customer facing websites and in-house applications to a high standard. Architecture and development of complete software solutions as well as problem solving and support of system releases. The ability to work closely with end users, sales, PR and marketing to ensure we remain a leading quality brand in the sector. The ability to think outside the specification given by management to foresee future commercial needs during project planning.
Skills Needed:
- ASP.NET, C#, MVC and WebAPI
-MSSQL and SQL Server Management Studio
-CSS 3, Javascript and JQuery
-Beneficial Skills
-JSON, XML
-Reactive Website Design and frameworks, e.g. 960 grid or Adaptive CSS
-Site development frameworks, e.g. WordPress
-Photoshop and image manipulation.
